My 1973 (bought new in July '73) Raleigh RRA had Weinmann 500 side pulls. The RRA (in 1973) cost me $375.00. I thought the brakes were pretty cheap and upgraded to Weinmann Carrera brakes in the late '70's (the Carreras were beautiful!!).
