Subject: [CR]Dating a Raleigh Competition: cheap fun

The recent discussion on establishing ages for Raleigh Competitions is good. Yes, I'd like to date mine, but not to marry it. (groan).

In any event, mine "looks like" the '76 at http://retroraleighs.com/catalogs/1976/pages/06-76-competition.html. Sloping crown, same lugs and gold lining on them, same center-pull bridge, etc. But mine has no chrome on the rear stays, and came with Nervar cranks, not TA. Is this a "standard" Raleigh running change (running to get something so we can ship these puppies)?

(This poor critter has been "adapted" as a fixed-gear commuter, but I have kept most of the proper parts like the GB bar/stem.)

All informed views and guesses eagerly sought.
