TA pedals:
Sorry for not getting back to the list members who has shown interest for the TA pedals but we had an appointment to keep with the loading of a container...........TA pedals, we'll be able to ship this coming week. Those who are waiting for word of the Pedals we'll be making contact this weekend, 21 / 22 - 05.
The move:
Many have been asking!....................What's up with Renaissance cycles and its move? Well lets say there's a whole lot more going on that just packing everything up....................and just>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>go! There's a lot more than just bicycle parts in this # 2 container, there's also the stuff from the house ''AND!'' Cecile's goods for her business as well, European country type furniture and such....Cecile's European lifestyles. We'll be running 2 businesses side by side of which much of her goods will be intergrated into the cycle shop. Of course there is the Cafe as well, this will be coming on after things are settled down. For sure it's a go, items for the Cafe such as tables and chairs and so on are in this # 2 container!.............Cafe items have also arrived with the first container. With the sending of this container, there was a ''TUG OF WAR!'' going on, HEY! I need this to go and coming from my side ''IT CAN WAIT!'' till the next container#*#^#&# I need this stuff to go! The 2 of us outside in the pouring rain at 2:00AM trying to figure this thing out?? It was a major puzzle! We were dealing with CMs, at times it was MMs! Load a pallet which should have fitted!..........But didn't? Yank the pallet jump up there to pound down the carton a few MMs!........Up it goes and in it went! Another pallet, it's to wide on one side, pull it out turn it around and in it went. Stuff all of the holes here and there and so on. It was like this from the front to the back. Loaded a pallet for Cecile AND! It was leaking water! Pull it out we need to drain it first!............What the hell it was raining, so it was no biggie having to deal with a little extra water. What can I say ''THIS IS HOLLAND!''.............It rains when you ''DON'T NEED IT!'' One way or another we're having a ''GOOD!'' time going at each other. It was ''CATS AND DOGS!'' But in a good way! Anyway we've just recovered from this ordeal....Grabbing all the needed sleep that we were in need of.
Happenings up until the final move when we get to stick our behinds on the seats of the plane. Today we slip into Merckx for a look, Bob!........One of EDDIES old MOLTENI team mates said come on over for a look we have some old stuff for you. So today we are off to Merckx. Next Friday 5/20/05 we are off on a roadtrip Denmark, Sweden and Norway. First a Quick stop in Denmark for a look at some stocks, MERCIER Columbus KL track frames and so on, Stockholm for some other items then over to Norway..........Before this trip we'll be finishing off packing goods for a customer of which is in need of container service.................Once we're back from this roadtrip, we finish up with this customers container ''GET PAID!'' $$$ and soon after we are off to Santa Barbara.
When we're a bit settled down in SB...................August, September the BBQ is on!..........We'll be letting the list know.
