Look at your front eccentric for adjusting the chain tension between the two riders. See if the chain is adjusted towards the bottom or the top. If it's at the bottom, swing it to the top and raise your seatpost to accommodate, giving more stem room as well. Also you can sometimes adjust the chain length by adding or subtracting a link to make the adjustment nearer the top of the eccentric. Hope that helps. David
