Kurt Sperry wrote regarding Chuck's Bianchi model dichotomy:

"Super" post with excellent citations. One question: What were the Campagnolo "superleggera" parts other than the obvious pedals sold under that name?

There was a Superleggera seat post before there was Super Record. Identifiable by its 30° chamfer machined at the top between the cylinder an d the head, along with a through hole drilled at the center of the cradle bosses. The cylinder was also machined with a slightly smoother surface overall. It also included thinner wall thickness throughout.

In two years of periodic looking on ebay found only one, now sitting on my work bench awaiting my decision on where to use it.
