Well, maybe it's a twice-in-a-lifetime thing. ;-)
Scott Violetta here in Michigan has an ex - Ian Cammish TT bike. Columbus KL tubing, very, very cool. He has some info. on Ian's records as well, I think.....
Scott, BTW, you should probably sell that bike to me - it's too small for you anyways! It would fit me like a glove.... :-)
Greg Parker Ann Arbor, Michigan
P.S. The bike that Scott has is a 24" frame IIRC.....

Genuine ex - Ian Cammish Raleigh frame (rare)
Hello everyone, I am selling this on behalf of my Father who doesn't have an eBay account. What you are looking at is an ex Ian Cammish Raleigh world record model frame. This frame is believed to be one of two supplied by Raleigh that were used by the legendary rider back in the era of his 100 mile record acheivements with Raleigh. This item is the real deal, not a re-painted fake. My Father bought it directly from the man himself from his home in Cambridgeshire approx 6 years ago. Since purchase the frame has been kept in dry storage and has never been used on the road.
The frame was re-painted into the Bob Jackson sponsorship colours you see here during ownership by Ian Cammish, and this is how my father bought it. The sale is for the complete bike as you see it, which includes the all the equipment fitted to the bike. The condition of the bike is very good with only the odd mark on it which is consummate with its age. The bike is also comes complete with a full Shimano Dura ace Groupset and campagnolo components.
I have been told that the frame accepts 700c wheels and the dimensions of the bike are as follows:
Top tube - 23"
Bottom bracket to seat post - 23"
Front tube to bottom bracket - 24"
Cycling is not really my thing, but even I know that Ian Cammish is a living legend in the cycling world and interest in this rare and collectable frame will be high. After all, what you see here is an almost unique item, which I doubt will ever be seen again on eBay, so this sale really is a one off event, and the item is sure to appeal to the enthusiast or collector. The item is exclusive to eBay and will only end early if a genuine good offer is made on the bike. Realistic bids to end the auction early are welcome, but please no insulting low 'for cash' offers. If you have any questions about the bike please mail me before the auction ends, and i will get back to you when i have the answer from my father. "
Any one know about Ian Cammish
Thanks
