Joe; I'll only answer you onlist once, and all other replies will be offlist.

First, my record on Ebay speaks for itself. My current rating is 99% with no negatives in the past 18 months. Secondly, I found the manner of your comment to me through Ebay very negative and responded in kind, although maybe a little more harshly than you deserved, but you also didn't identify yourself in your note. Below is the letter you had sent through Ebay.

"With all due respect, please explain to me why an allen bolt stem is from the 1950's? These kind of silly claims get really tiring after a while".

I found the tone of your note rather unfreindly as I'm sure others might have. If you had emailed in a respectful or helping manner, my reply would have been the same. I put a disclaimer at the bottom of my auction page for the very reason that I do not claim to know everything about our hobby, and positive comments are alays welcome and helpful. Negative, snide comments are not, especially when the sender does not identify themselves.

I have really had it with Peter Naiman and his questionable assertions, mishandled deals etc. With respect to Ebay auction 7218410328 I questioned if this GB allen key stem was a 50's part and what his basis for the claim was. He replied "If you want to make a civil comment, fine. But negative crap I won't put up with. "

As I see these things come up from now on, in whatever context, I'm going to call them like I see them to the list. Please feel free to email me with any Peter Naiman deals you know of concerning questionable assertions, possibly uncompleted deals etc.

For starters Peter, tell us about Ebay auction 7218392943 and your basis that this stem is from the 1950's?
