Subject: [CR]Problems buying & selling on the CR list....

Dear CR folks:

I am currently investigating the various issues with one CR member vs. six other individuals. Initially, it looks to be due to chronic bad communication.

But, as Lou pointed out, I do require that members do not "zing" or accuse other members of malfeasance in posts to the whole list. This often does irreparable damage, perhaps unfair and premature... I do prefer that you "vent" to me when such things arise, often I can help resolve seemingly bad situations. I have worked quite a bit behind the scenes to maintain a high standard on the CR list....

But, the reality is that IF we have a CR member who is not honorable and honest in his/her dealings, that would be grounds for dishonorable discharge from this list and "outing" of the reasons to the whole membership! Hopefully this horrible prospect will keep all of us on our toes!?

Thanks to all, Dale

I agree with Lou on this one. If a seller is a list member and I can't resolve my problem with him directly, I'll contact Dale before going public with my complaint. Fortunately, I've only had to do this once or twice, and Dale has exercised some "gentle persuasion" to get the matter resolved.
