Suppliers such as ceeway might carry several sizes of socket or plug style drops. Henry james also casts his dropouts in several sizes. One version drop out might be easier than the other, but neither kind go together anywhere near as easy as a snap together plastic model. I prefer the look of the models that allow the builder to show some detail.
