Subject: [CR]Buying and Selling on List

I am a lurker who surfaced a couple weeks ago seeking an .833 road stem. Within an hour, a list-member sold me one at a very fair price. Within a couple hours, another list-member offered me a little rougher one as a "backup" for the cost of his shipping. Without this list, where would I have gotten one, let alone two, vintage bicycle parts that I needed? I fruitlessly searched the "bay" and the web in general. This was the place that delivered the goods. I am grateful that it exists. Thanks, Dale and list-members!

(Now if I could just get back on the address list for the "Detroit Vintage Bicycle Club", I would be thrilled. Can Tom Sanders or Mark Agree email me about upcoming events?)
