Yes, $440 shipped for a frame in VG (but not pristine) condition is probably a high point. However, I notice that another iBOB bidder bid against you (having recently bought bridgestone bike and catalogue), and Grant Petersen is known to recommend the Raleigh International as a "BoBish Bike". However, it turns out that Grant wasn't recommending the 1973-76 models, he was recommending the 1967-1972 models which have a more relaxed geometry (also the Raleigh Competitions and some Pro's from that era qualify.)

I prefer to buy trashed rusty Raleigh Internationals at $120-$150 and then turn them into REALLY EXPENSIVE frames by getting them rechromed and repainted. Compared to my 1974 Raleigh International, you can be happy that yours is dirt cheap!
