Subject: [CR]Attention, Attention Masi 28

Troops:

If my memory serves me correctly and I stress "IF" . This character that was attending the last CR, I would have to say caveat emptor. Mike Schmidt and I were standing in front of about 3 to 4 of the Masi at the show and I would say two to three of them were mislabeled or had the wrong decals on them. For instance one said it was a 73' and it had an 80's Masi Crest fork Crown. That didn't work for me.

Mike can you confirm this recollection for me

Hello,

Since the seller only lives an hour up the road I tried to make arrangements to look at his bikes in person. Apparently they and the rest of the parts he is selling are in storage and not available for viewing. He also seemed very busy and had no interest in entertaining a vintage bike nut like myself, that is unless I had "$3000.00 in cash" to which he said he might reconsider. He also claimed all the bikes were at the Cirque this year. I was not able to attend so I can verify this.

I am no Masi expert like the boys on the west coast, far from it, but if you can convince him I could take a quick look at it for any interested buyers.
