I've never seen that one before -- but sounds fishy to me. Easiest way to know if it's from ebay is to log in on the site and to MyEbay - then look at "My Messages." If it isn't there, then my guess is that it's a scam. That sounds like the kind of message they'd put in your "My Messages" box.
