I have to confess, it's a little tough to get my head around Delta brakes on a tandem. Maybe it's like Ferrari said, that the reason his brakes were lousy is because his cars weren't designed to slow down...<g> although, in that event, for this time-trial tandem, you'd think the owner would have wanted lighter brakes too...he'd have been better off with Balillas all the way around.
