In a recent issue of Vintage Bicycle Quarterly, the TA front rack was tested together with other, currently made racks. The hanger is for mounting a light. In the next issue, there was a Rebour drawing on how to do it: You use an eyebolt, as used for mounting French-style fenders... a nifty solution, if you know about it.
