Interesting. The first impression might be this is just badge engineering, like the "Maserati" bikes marketed in the 70's. However, on second thought I'm not so sure. This bike is Italian, while the lengendary motor cars were French, although the family which built the cars were admittedly of Italian descent. So it is possible this bike is actually built by a Bugatti company in Italy with no connectiion to the auto company except perhaps a family relation between the founders. Anyone know anything definite about the Bugatti bikes?
I do believe the French company may have briefly built bicycles before WWII, seem to recall rading about such bicycles of unconventional design, with many small tubes. But this one is pretty conventional and built in Italy.
