Greetings, CR Mates---
I was the fortunate fellow who won the ebay auction for the 24-inch Schwinn Ladies Paramount Deluxe that was recently on ebay and which Don Wilson outted to the List and Peter Weigle commented upon. Link to auction is below.
The bike has arrived and, despite its paint issues, it is absolutely lovely. Once the bike is cleaned up and reassembled I will be posting detailed photos of it to the List.
But to cut to the chase---------
My question concerns the Record cranks. Each arm is date stamped 67, and I am wondering if this was something Campy did in the factory for all their Record cranks of that era, something they did for Schwinn, or something Schwinn itself did pre-assembly of the bike?
The date stamps do not have the typical Campy cleanliness to them---they look rather crude---and so I am guessing Schwinn did this. But I'd like to know for sure.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheerio,
