I just received mine from Chris, and I would like to offer an unsolicited testimonial - it's really nice. The gold anodizing will provide some nice bling to your French racer. The impression of quality is similar to Super Record. Actually SR might be a tiny bit finer in the bearing races, and the Edco uses 5/32" balls versus the larger 3/16" balls in an SR, but Edcos I used back in the day lasted pretty well, so I don't think this is a problem.
