RALEIGH PROFESSIONAL ROAD BIKE 21.5in (CTT) 1973 Original Equipment
Top tube length 21.5in (ctc). No original paint but excellent chrome.
Huret Jubilee gears front and rear with correct shift levers. Nervar
Star chainset with 170mm cranks and 53/42 chainrings, Campag Record road
pedals, Campag NR seatpin, no saddle, Weinmann 500 brakeset, Campag
Large flange hubs with non-matching sprint rims, 5-speed Regina
freewheel. This spec differs from the catalogue but it must be
remembered that there were widespread component shortages in 1973 and
1974 and Raleigh fitted almost anything they could get. Frame appears to
be in excellent condition except overpainted in red and one tiny, tiny
dent on the top tube. Typical Pro fastback stays and fully sloping
crown. It would seem a shame to part this bike out. $375

TOM CROWTHER ROAD FRAME 21in (CTT) 1970s
21 in Top tube (ctc) with 120mm rear ends. Beautiful original paintwork
which has some marks but is more than good enough to save. Tom Crowther
was one of the original partners in Mercian before selling out and going
on his own around 1965. This frame has exquisitely filed single point
lugs almost certainly Prugnat and with Campag vertical dropouts. Fully
sloping Cinelli type crown with unusually Reynolds transfer applied to
the fork crown slope. Half-chrome forks and rear stays with chrome in
excellent condition. A stunning looking frame. $295

GAZELLE CHAMPION MONDIAL AA 54cm (CTC) Middle/late 1970s
54cm Top tube (ctc) with 125mm rear ends. Good, in my opinion saveable
original paintwork. Has the funky strange shaped brake bridge. Half
chrome fork blades and stays with chrome fork crown. Chrome is very good
but has some marks. Gold/brown colour with black transfers, one set of
bottle cage bosses and no other braze-ons. Transfers from two Dutch
cycle shops adorn the frame but these can easily be removed if needed.
Head badge is missing. $145

DAVE LLOYD 25.25in (CTT) TIME TRIAL FRAME Wonderful lugless Brazing combined with Dave\u2019s trademark wishbone rear stays. It is extensively chrome plated and is finished in a blue mauve fade which is also very common on Dave Lloyd\u2019s frames. This frame is built to take 26in wheels front and rear and coming with two 26in wheels with later, much more modern and off-topic Zipp carbon-fibre rims, rear hub is Dura-Ace and front hub is Mavic which is a the narrow one designed specifically by them for low-pro type applications. There are a number of good spare tubulars included. This frame is extremely eye-catching and beautiful. $375
