Yeah, even at the tender good-little-liberal-socialist-college student age, I understood the value of the American dollar in Eastern Europe.

Fifteen years later, working as a bureaucrat for country government, I learned to understand the inefficiency and couldn't-care-less attitude of a 'permanently' employed government employee.

Guess which was the stronger force on that day? Dad was rather frustrated, as he (in truly conquering rich American style) fully expected all sorts of people to prostrate themselves on the ground at the sight of a few Jeffersons, and to run into one instance where it didn't work absolutely amazed him.

Oh well, another wonderful memory from my mad, glory days - and if anyone's got any Favorit kit clogging up the parts box, drop me a note off-line. Depending on finances at the moment, I'm probably interested.
