Charles,
As has been mentioned already, but this bears repeating; it was a joke
just as Jerry and others have mentioned. What I like most about the
button thing is that Bruce made them himself. See, it's funny. It's
also a sign that Bruce has a healthy outlook about himself; he doesn't
take himself anywhere near as seriously as apparently others do with
themselves. A sense of humor can be had from the great and wonderful
Wizard of OZ. I'm planning a trip soon to get some brains; if you
would like to join me for a sense of humor I'd be glad to have some
company. (I'm not trying to be rude, but seriously, nobody in the
framebuilding business makes enough money to take themselves THAT
seriously.) You can quote Bruce Gordon on that one; I heard it from
him very recently. It's also the honest truth, again true to form for
Bruce.
I have it on REALLY good authority that the buttons are still
available and other variations as well; and they will be available at
the NAHBS in March 2007 in San Jose. Relevant to that, stay tuned for
a major announcement very soon that will involve the one and only
(thankfully ;-) Bruce Gordon himself.
Edward, if it makes you feel better about loosing Pergs to the West
Coast; I'll take up with Pergolizzi on this end where you leave off.
Just make sure your last moments really count! I know "rude" is an
artform on the East Coast sometimes. Out here it takes some practice;
but I'm willing to put in the time if it will soften the blow of your
losing the Pergs.

someone
( anyone he chooses) and because of this button he gets a pass...my,
my,
ain't it great when you reach a status that lets you speak at or down
to someone
just because your frames are pretty or you know something someone else
doesn't
know....then the clique rallies if there is a dessenting voice to
suppress the
criticism and make the outsider look like the idiot....on the street
that is
the tactic of a gang. it speaks volumns about someone who dains not to
sign a
business card but when he hears eddy did it, is then happy to do
it....sounds
pretty self important to me...i think i might have placed the card
back on the
table after an exchange like that....what a little fish bowl some
people swin
