I think it is great that some sellers wait 24 hours after posting for sale items. I don't have the luxury of sitting in front of a computer all day long ready to pounce on the latest great deal that comes through the list. I usually get up early (3:30AM isn't unusual) in order to get a chance to look at my emails and read the list from the archives. By the time I get a chance to find that elusive part that someone lists for sale, it is usually long gone.

Posting a WTB (wanted to buy) message usually results in me receiving more messages along the lines of "if you find two of those, please let me know because I've been looking for one of those for years" than responses from sellers that have the item to sell.

In the end, the seller will do what they think is best for them. Some will post on eBay, where the audience is bigger and the selling price is sometimes higher. Others will only deal on the lists and "keep it in the family". Still others will do both.

Sincerely, Jason Cloutier Pawtucket, RI
