Like it or not, a proper restoration REQUIRES the panaracer practice tires. Same gram weight (270), tan sidewalls, same company, same price range as the original (unobtainium) Raleigh Nylon Extra 270 Made in Japan tires. I am fortunate to be able to source new and accurate tires for this bike.

Dugasts would be COMPLETELY INACCURATE, and imho, the clement ventoux clinchers would be just as good of a choice for this bike. I'd definitely consider Dugasts (or Veloflex Criteriums) for my higher Raleigh models (Pro, RRA, team.)
