Those came later and I think were intended for for one of their Mountain Bike cranksets. I actually one of those, too. (The O-Ring BB, not a Campagnolo equipped MTB.)

It would seem that the couple of bikes I've disassembled, which had that style of cup, must have been using Miche/Galli/Ofmega/whatever cups with the Campagnolo spindles. Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia (USA)
