Since I cannot read German I don't know what the article says but I have ridden one of these and have seen several over the years in museums and books. They are not the most elegant of machines but they did function well as a bicycle. They did have a tendency to warp like all early plastic bikes (i.e. Spacelander). They were just stone ugly as you can see even in photos that are supposed to make you want to buy one. They were not light as one would think and sounded kind of funny when riding. I always think back to these bikes when i see all the new fancy carbon fiber toys around town. I wonder years from now what we will be saying about those? Will they warp with age and temperature variances?
