Subject: [CR]Ebay Paletti Super Prestige...Pantographicitis?

Do you ever look at some bikes and say: too much pantographing? I've got a Torpado that's a little that way.

But this '85 Paletti Super Prestige on Ebay suffers acute pantographicitis--a dermal condition wherein the brand name is etched too many times in too many places and too many symbols are carved too many other places. To wit, this Paletti has the word Paletti pantographed on stem, brake levers, shifters, seat post, chain wheel and both cranks. Looking at this bike too long makes me positively crave a look at the quiet grace of a Qvale. 130064344568

Still, this 57cm ctc seat tube Paletti with Columbus SLX tubing and Campy components looks like a VERY fine ride in other ways. And that chainwheel/crank IS appealing nevertheless. The red and blue and white and chrome paint scheme? Another look best left to the 80s.
