The bid history for JB's auction is interesting. The two top bids were above $3500 which was almost $1600 above the next highest bid. The perfect situation for a seller is to have two 'gotta haves' going at each other.
The Italian Masi Special auction from last week had a very similar chain of events.
Auction prices are not always the litmus test for enduring market values, but it sure is cool to be the seller in those 'gotta have' situations.
