Hey Ben: I think we went over this earlier on the CR list, but those bikes could have come from Condor, Mercian and other makers. Georgetown Cycle Sport put those decals on many makers vframes in those days. I had a Condor version at one time. My guess (purely) on this one of yours.. Mercian.

Hello, I would like some help identifying an Alpine track frame that I recently acquired. From the archives I discovered that the early ones were imported from Great Britain and sold by a shop in Washington DC. I believe this is a late 1960's or early 1970's frame. It has British BB threads and came with a nice steel cottered crank set. The frame is built with Reynolds 531. Does anyone know what British builder may have built this nice frame? Thanks in advance,
Ben Spencer
