I've noticed a few pictures of earlier Cinellis (pre drilled lugs) with original paint that are wearing Reynolds 531 stickers rather than the more familiar Columbus SL sticker. I have read that Cinelli switched early on to Columbus from Reynolds, but the bikes I've seen were described as models from the 1960's. Does anyone know how long Reynolds tubing was used on Cinelli frames? Were both tubing types ever used for a period of time concurrently? On a related topic, does anyone know if different tubing was used on the Model B from the S.C.?
