OK Victor, Here's how it works...............
EVERY dollar you spend is a vote for someone to succede and someone to fail. Cut it up any way you want but that is the ultimate truth. If you value living wages and weekends, healthcare and safe workplaces shop at store that share those values and buy products from vendors that treat their employees accordingly
And Wallmart? My local New Seasons grocery is a little more expensive than a stupidstore, but most of the time I go I see a Rock Lobster locked up with the employee bikes. Sometimes there's a Strawberry or a Co-Motion. And because they sometimes show up at the same time. I know a few of the employees there, and have learned that the company has a commitment to good wages and alternative transportation. So where should I spend my money? Who's gonna come see me to get they're bike painted? The NS employee riding the Rock Lobster or the Walmart employee riding...................... Oh wait, has Anybody ever seen an employee bike rack at walmart?
Do Ya Get It Now?
Of course nobody's gonna choose between a Pacific/Schwinn/Mongoose/whatever and a Richard Sachs. But the money doesn't stop there, Hell, thats where it starts!
