Subject: [CR]Legnano front vs rear saet bolt timeline.

This is the second Legnano I have purchased, only to find it was a 'bit too small'.

The other one was 1970 or 71, same model 54, same rear seat bolt.

I am not sure when the bolt swapped front to back. Or when the 54 was

introduced.

The original owner's son sold me the bike.

Original bar tape was rotting on the bars, still had the sought after

pressed aluminium bar end stops.

Legnano cast headset, Legnano signed hubs.....

They are now destined for a 'correct size' Gran Premio, that is of earlier vintage. Condition not a patch on this frame, but hey!

it has a front mounted bolt!

Thanks for your interest. I'm learning about this stuff all the time....
