>From the Peugeot catalogs that are on the Peugeot Show site the first pictures showing what I would call the horizontal dropouts are in the 1952 catalog. See the PH10. http://home.wanadoo.nl/
Thats based on squinting at fuzzy images. I think the 1950 and 1951 catalogs show a mounting plate.
I guess that means my PH10 is a 1952. It is a different color (blue) and has a few components switched between the years so I hadn't quite been able to figure it out.

> Hello Peter,
\r?\n>
\r?\n> If you mean the forward-facing dropouts for the Tour de France,
\r?\n> Juy 51,
\r?\n> etc., they aren't listed in the 1952 Brown Brothers catalogue, but
\r?\n> they are
\r?\n> in the 1956 catalogue. I don't have any catyalogues in between
\r?\n> the two
\r?\n> dates. The fitting instructions in the 1950 Fonteyn catalogue
\r?\n> don't mention
\r?\n> ends with an integral gear hanger; they only refer to the fixing
\r?\n> plate.
\r?\n> This tends to confirm that they may not have been available, in
\r?\n> England at
\r?\n> least, until after 1952, but that they certainly were by 1956.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> They were no longer listed in the 1960 Brown Bros. catalogue.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> I'm afraid I can't get any more specific.
