Last year I bought some old Wolbers from Renaissance-Cycles. They looked great on my old Bertin and handled well enough.
Unfortunately they wore out and had to be replaced with locally available tires. Since then I've used a bunch of modern tires and have noticed a few things about them. They are light, fast, ugly (no sidewalls) and dangerous on wet roads.
Israel's average annual rainfall is only 60 days a year. Most riders ride their trainers on rainy days ... so there may be no reason to import and sell all-weather tires.
My question is:
Are there any modern (preferably wide) all-weather tires with sidewalls that look good on classic bikes?
