The Jack Taylor suffered a bent fork, handlebar, and rear wheel. I have a separated shoulder and a fair dose of road rash. I think the bike and I flew/rolled/bounced about 50 yards on the asphalt then the grass shoulder. Nothing like have the guy in front of you go down in a paceline at 34 mph!
The frame/fork are currently under the capable care of Dr. Weigle. I am hoping for a complete recovery. This was a '76 Tour of Britain model that I had only recently obtained. What a rider (it was)!
I plan be back on a bike by the Cirque (hoping my orthopedist doesn't read this).
Thanks for asking! Paul Raley Grumpy in Leonardtown MD
