Those bikes were actually made in America in the late 80's by Sandvik Special Metals under contract to Panasonic. They were one of the very few builders to attempt a titanium fork. I think they are pretty interesting bikes, but sadly off topic, so I'll confine my discussion to how to get the clear coat off. I used paint remover but no abrasive. Just put it on, let it work for while and then wipe it off. Repeat as necessary... Hey Larry, you comin' to the big powwow?
Regards, Jamie
