I always had the impression that Selbach was a very small producer and not one capable of cranking out 4000 frames a year as I read on this list.

Has anyone ever compiled a "History of Selbach"?

Most of the mentions of Selbach frames have been in reference to unique features such as tapered tubes, special bearing assemblies, etc. etc.

(I have to admit here that the person who told me the most about Selbach was Ralph Lewis of Hamilton-Satui and Wheelsmith composite wheel fame or infamy, i.e. perhaps not the most reliable source of information).

Did these special frames comprise much of Selbach's production?

Where would on go in the UK to see examples of these bikes? Are their collectors that specialize in Selbach?
