Subject: [CR]Shipping and costs

Peter Brown replied with the following Regarding Doug Smith's comments about all the paperwork for sending parcels overseas by Parcelforce. So far as I can remember, items over 2 Kg have always needed that documentation.

Peter and members I agree , but I'll explain my past experiences with our local GPO. Following last evening's mail I should explain the reasons for my comments on the form filling . In my own experience I have never filled in one of these forms until yesterday. In the past various post office clerk's have always said leave it with them to do and have just signed a form. Differing rules/ interpretations in different areas I suppose but I have decided I will not get involved again because any item/s I have for sale over the 2kg min. weight will stay this side of the Atlantic. All this does not detract from my original reason to forewarn list members of the future proposed escalating costs of shipping to the
