I have a "PX-10E" from I think 1973 or 1974 that has Super Champion 27" clincher rims. I am reasonably certain that these were there from when it left the bike shop.
I am also reasonably certain that in that time frame, Peugeot, in the US, had a different model number for the PX with clinchers. I am certain I once saw it in a catalog, but I can't remember the designation. The various catalogs on line don't seem to show this, as they are often european lineups.
