I'm not sure, but when I was with Trek in the early 80's there was talk of outsourcing some of our production to a factory in Ireland. I don't know much more about it -- whether it was an established operation or completely new -- but we got to the point of recruiting Waterloo workers to go to Ireland to train people there when apparently the project was canceled.
