When I was going through the show reviews and checking the information on Reynolds HM tubing I also came across the announcement for Reynolds Hiduminium parts - which was just a year later - in November 1933. Strangely I'd always thought it came out in 35, the same as 531 tubing, perhaps the components were not readily available immediately after the announcement. Over the next few days I will see if I can find further reference to Reynolds Hiduminium parts - I do have a 30s Reynolds catalogue covering specifically the Hiduminium stuff and will see if it is dated. What was most innovative about these parts was that they were available anodised in colours - I have a bar and stem set which are in their original black anodising! The Hiduminium parts continued to be available until after WWII and some like the seat posts into the 1950s.
