Right, lads and lasses, my bud Robert and I are letting go of a few items on Ebay. Of particular interest in CR land you will find:

-- a tall Raleigh Competition GS (62cm c-t) frameset, 531, in need of some cosmetic love, but structurally sound -- the bike that dragged me into the hobby, this is! My first real rescue, and where Robert started my lessons in classic steel. Item # 170004323008

-- a curious "Mont Blanc" Sport Record frameset, 50cm c-t. Who's this maker? I dunno. Robert dunno. We dunno. Whaddya know? Item number is 170004324852 -- I know that much. (I'm starting a rumor that Faliero built it and put Mont Blanc decals... nah, never mind.)

-- a 1983 Pinarello Treviso frameset, 54cm center to center, SL tubing, with Pinarello's traditionally appalling decals. Miserable, decrepit transfers. Why did Pinarello even bother, anyway? A Sharpie would've done a better job. I do trust, however, that CR readers know that the quality here isn't in the cosmetics. Showing appropriate CR seller's modesty: Nice bike. Nice, nice bike. Item # 170004327955

-- and a single off-topic item, of particular interest to Cinelli fans and eminently applicable to your every on-topic machine. Go look at the on-topic stuff, and hit "seller's other items." Ya can't miss it.

I promise to put my share of the proceeds of these sales into a very on-topic visit to Witcomb in London. Seriously.
