OK, first I'll turn this into a basic warning about all old stuff. It is old. It is way beyond any use envisioned by the engineer/builder. Use and buy at your own risk. If you are a risk taker, is descending at 60 mph as rational as when this stuff was new?
I need to think about this as to the La Pre Alpina rack. I was just about to throw the TANDEM on the rack rack this weekend. I have plenty of fresh QRs to try if one fits.
By the way, many cool bike swaps might be possible for the Bianchi Blue 1969 Alfa Romeo Berlina, I am Always Looking For Another.
