Well, not exactly new but I went on holiday before I post any message last time around and my e-mail account got suspended...
I got my first Trek 500 in 1984, soon followed with a Cinelli (a peral white Campy 50th Anniversary from Elliotbay bicycle in Seattle) and a Mondia. Then I got married...
Anyway, I am now in England and the kids are older and I could play with my toys again. I now have a Flying Scot and a Woodrup.
The Woodrup is particular interesting. It has a 4 digit serial number, but when I took the bike in for renovation, they said it is built in 1992. I went back and verified with them and they told me only the bikes ship to the US changed to 5 digit serial in the 80's. The British bikes continue to use 4 digits. This might complicate things a little when try to date a frame using serial numbers (Dale, please change the year for my Woodrup 7099 to 1992, might need to indicate it is a UK bike too).
I am sure my collection going to grow. I still have all my bikes, some stored in Seattle and I do miss them.
