I seem to remember we got our first samples at Davidson in maybe '87-88? My memory is hazy on that so don't take it as gospel - also Davidson may have not been the first builder in the world to get samples. (Ya think?)

Certainly not before '84. My oldest Columbus catalog is not dated but it does mention Moser's hour record of '84. It lists all their bicycle tubing but no Max, no Nivacrom.
