Eddie; Thank you for the promo and compliments. I'll pass them on to Maurice and the folks at the Museum who do such a wonderful job in hosting the show. As for your comments on being "ex-Hetchins" I'm keeping a few of my collection, but seriously cutting back my involvement in collecting, atleast for the short term, while I get my art studio going, and a new career.
I'll give a full report on the show after this weekend, as this week has been pretty intense with an ongoing job search which finally culminated yesterday in my finding a great position with a local company and coordinating the last minute details of the Century for my cycling club. I took about 150 photos of the show, but only got about half of the bikes, and unfortunately missed the great collection Ken Denny brought over. Perg and I had to start the judging at 11:30, and it didn't leave enough time to finish the photo work etc.
While I'm thanking folks, especially Maurice, Perg, and Elln Hagney and her staff at the Museum, this may be OT to the list, but I also need to thank freind & list member David Toppin and the other Wheelman for bringing over a great selection of antique Highwheelers, & Safeties, etc. These bikes may not be lightweights, but they are a great part of our cycling heritage.
As soon as time allows, I'll get the photos up on Wool Jersey, and a full report to the list.

It doesn't have the multi-day intensity of the Cirque or, (I have to assume because I have not had the chance to attend.... yet!) Velo Rendevous. But it is perhaps the only oportunity in the North East for the addicted to gather. I only wish a lot more of, as Perg might say, youz (is that how you spell it JP) guys would come out.....maybe next year. Perg also gets a round of applause with Peter N. for taking on the onerous task of judging. It was done professionally, fairly, and well (I say so cause I won sonething) and it seems that everybody went away happy. Anyway, thanks again to all of you who helped make this a success (thats all of us) and especially to the above named suspects.
