In regards to wether or not this is a repaint:

I foung this bike through the son of the original owner and I think there is no way this is a repaint. This bike never got much attention and if you could see it up close (condition of the components and frame) I think you'd feel the same. The bike was literally never ridden and I stated that in the listing to describe it accurately, not as a sales pitch. Everything is orignal and in near perfect conditon. The only reason the paint seemed shiny is because I had just dusted and cleaned it off before the pictures. Also in person the paint doesn't seem thick like a repaint and the color is a very original Colnago color. About the chrome fork; just last week there was a bike on ebay that the whole CR list just confirmed they thought was late 70's which had a chrome fork and the top of the BTB shell had braze on cable guides.

That's my two cents
