Today I picked up what I think is a PY-10 from the mid-70s, but I'm looking for more info. The SR# is 7.04.1535 (1977, April, #1535 frame that year?) and stamped into the bottom of the BB shell. There are some pics here: http://new.photos.yahoo.com/themanmonkey/album/576460762314726500#page1 The top tube says "Prestige Peugeot" on the right side of the toptube. The tubing is Reynolds 531 Extra Leger. It's got the whole gold anno treatment except on the hubs and cranks. The cranks are Stronglight and the front wheel is a Perrin-Maillard on a Super Champ. The rear, alas, has been replaces with a Campy hub laced to a Weinmann clincher. The brakes are Gold Mafac Comps along with the deraileurs are Simplex Super LJ Prestige.

The main reason I was sold on the bike is it's a 56 cm square frame, just my size. The fact that it was in nice shape and 90% original was also nice. The greay color and short point lugs are also nice. Oh, and the brakes have braze-on center=pull studs which I don't remember ever seeing on a Peugeot. I've seen a few Peugeots over the years similar to this one, but most of those were missing the gold bars and seatpost at least. So any information on this bike would be great. thanks, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives Trying to make room in his storage unit for one more bike in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
