Looks to me that they have just passed a feeding station with their bonk
bags on. Could it be he is looking for a team mate who might have slowed
to have his musette passed up?
Bartolemo Aimo competed in three Tour de France's 1924/25/26 and he won
two stages. The first Tour he rode was in 1924 in Legnano colours and
finished overall fourth. His two stage wins were in 1925 Stage 13
Nice-Briancon when riding for Alcyon and 1926 Stage 14 coincidentally
Nice-Briancon again riding for Alcyon. In 25 and 26 he finished third
overall.
Robert Jacquinot competed in seven consequetive Tour de France's from
1919 to 1925 and had four stage victories. His stage wins were in 1922
on Stage 1 Paris-LeHavre and Stage 3 Cherbourg-Brest and again the
following year 1923 Stage 1 again Paris-LeHavre and Stage 5 Les
Sables-d'Olonne-Bayonne.
