That Cavalier was the very bottom of the Puch line (We sold those in-the-day) Not of Columbus but of seamed hi-tensile tubing. The build up parts are not far off what might have been original... Neat old bike but not a "fancy" model.... I found this craigslist post, and thought I might post it on CR for any Puch collectors. I have no relation to the seller, but I thought the frame's lug work and colors were beautiful. I looked through the archives and gathered a little information on Puch bicycles. It am not sure if the frame is on-topic, but it could be a nice KOF and nice addition to a collection of Ausie built bicycles. That is, once someone gets rid of its current horrible build up, and puts on a campy or dura ace groupo. In one of the photos you can see the existence of a columbus copper colored sticker; it could be 531? Regardless, cool frame and interesting company.
