It's called "Keyword Spamming" and it is against the eBay rules. I find it annoying enough that I try to never bid on an auction that uses it. It wastes quite a lot of time when your search results are polluted with unrelated items - quite selfish in my opinion. (Or maybe Scarpa was made by Colnago? In which case I apologize!)

I reported blatant keyword spamming to ebay a few times when I was young and idealistic ;) but stopped because they never did anything about it.
